Our aim is to utilize the full potential of internet technology to create innovative and effective teaching tools for mathematics.

HANS Software is based in Chennai, India. A team of 20 educators, mathematicians, and software developers, we have been quietly working since 2004 creating mathematics content for leading websites and publishers such as Hotmath.com, Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, Microsoft Encarta, College Preparatory Mathematics, and Castle Rock Research. We have expertise in the U.S., Canadian, and Indian mathematics curricula, the standards of the various states and provinces, and current research on best practices in teaching mathematics.

In the course of this work we have developed several in-house tools for content development that we believe might be developed into commercial software. We have also made a few successful attempts at creating computer games for math learning, using Flash, and are eager for opportunities to do more.
